I’ve always felt out of step with the world. Like I can’t keep up.

Growing up, I wasn’t sure if anyone else felt this way too.

I spent my youth searching for peace and I found it amongst the chaos. The hardcore music scene drew me in and my nights were filled with stage dives, slamming bodies, and swinging fists.

Some years later, I found this same tenet within Thai boxing. The smell of liniment, the feeling of shin-to-shin contact, and the sound of primal shouts while kicking a bag felt like a long lost home to me.

In 2020, following a hiatus from training, I began to paint. Naturally, I was inspired by what inspired me:
Traditional tattooing, hardcore music, and Thai boxing.

Eventually I needed a name for it and nothing felt more fitting than how I felt for as long as I can remember:

Out Of Step.
